What is a LINKS door?
LINKS is a new form of door that both looks and feels like aluminium but has the material benefits of a high-end GRP composite door. There are currently two different ranges of LINKS doors – Inox and Urban.
Inox Glazing Collection
The new Inox collection boasts contemporary composite doors that act as a hybrid, combining the high-performance of glass-reinforced plastic composite materials with stylish aesthetics, making your composite door stand out amongst the rest.
How does an Inox composite door stand out?
Inox collection composite doors have many features that make them stand out from the rest, including stainless steel glazing frames that are 316 grade. This gives them a one-of-a-kind appearance and means they’ll shine brightly for many, many years. Inox door frames are massively compatible with all kinds of glass options, allowing the door to complement many kinds of properties. The glass options are fitted in a triple glazed unit as standard, allowing the Inox door to be both easy to clean and thermally efficient.
Is an Inox door customisable?
All Inox doors are available in a range of colours, consisting of 13 premium options and 5 standard ones, with the additional option of having matching coloured frames for those who want them. There’s also the option for a woodgrain finish and if you’re looking for something beyond the standard choices there’s also the option for a bespoke RAL colour.
There are 11 different glass and glazing options, available in either red, green, blue, purple, or black. You can also choose specific hardware for the door, with various handles, a premium letterplate, pulls, and hinges to ensure that your Inox composite door is truly your own.
The benefits of choosing an Inox door
When it comes to the manufacturing behind the Inox door, it mainly comes down to a 44mm composite door slab that combines a timber sub-frame and CFC Polyurethane core with a 2mm glass-reinforced plastic outer face. It’s these components that ensure the Inox door won’t twist, warp or shrink. In fact, because of this, Inox doors come with a 10-year warranty to prove how durable they are. By nature, the average composite door already excels in both intruder resistance and security, so you can have peace of mind within your home when you choose an Inox door.
Urban Glazing Collection
Aiming to set new standards in upmarket, modern entrances, the Urban range of doors allows for a unique style that is also authentic and clean. The LINKS textured door blank that the Urban range is built from consists of 4mm GRP (glass reinforced plastic) skin on a 44mm composite slab.
How does an Urban composite door stand out?
Using a new contemporary chamfered cassette system with an aluminium colour finish, Urban range doors are glazed in a way that separates them from other doors. Similar to Inox range doors, they’re able to achieve the look and feel of an aluminium door, but Urban doors also allow for colour matched stainless steel.

Internal Round Knob
Tested by the Greater Manchester Police
Security is a primary concern for many homeowners. Offer them a stylish and secure new entrance with an XtemeDoor composite door.
To maximise security for the end user our composite doors use a five-point locking system (2 hooks, 3 deadbolts) and an anti-snap, bump and drill cylinder designed to withstand the main attack methods used during a burglary.
Our composites have also been tested by the Greater Manchester Police who were unable to gain entry to the door using an enforcer. The security details such as the five-point locking system are designed to keep intruders at bay and help the door achieve Secured by Design accreditation.
Built to withstand extremes of weather
Our composite doors are designed to last in even the most extremes of weather, providing excellent protection from the elements for the end user.
XtremeDoor composites have been tested for weather tightness on the glazing system, enduring 2000 pascals. A pascal is a unit of pressure equal to one newton per square metre(N/m2), with 670 pascals equating to a hurricane (which is a windspeed of 75mph). Our composites exceeded this times three so can withstand 225mph winds.
A triple sealed outerframe and uPVC edgebanding not only helps improve thermal efficiency, it keeps the worst of the British weather at bay too.
